Peterboro Blackcore mats are engineered with a deep, rich black core, offering framers a versatile solution where a bright white bevel might be distracting. By directing the viewer’s eye to the artwork rather than the bevel, these mats provide a clean, dramatic finish. They can also serve as a design element without the need for a secondary mat and are especially effective with v-grooves. Ideally suited for black-and-white photography, prints, awards, memorabilia, and artwork that benefits from a dark accent line.
